2004 BMW 530i Oil Change
Did an oil change and inspection on this beautiful 530i today. Oil change went as planned, though the oil had 10k miles on it and was extremely black. I am personally not a fan of these 10-15k mile oil change intervals that most companies have gone to. The oil is coming out darker and thicker than it should, and I think there will be a lot of higher mileage issues in the future with these cars that stick to every 15k miles. If you like your engine and your pocket book, change the oil every 6 months, no matter the mileage. Cheap insurance. You may notice something different….more on that later.
I’m going to have to come up with a drain solution.
Good old BMW oil 🙂
Oil reset light is done through the odometer stalk.

Lol, remember that giant heavy thing I was unloading, well that was it. I’ll do a post about it and a review in a week or so once I get everything set up the way I want it. It took a lot of research and talking with some midrise owners before I pulled the trigger, so far I think it will work well. Doing a high lift conversion on the door next week if all works out as planned.

So that’s what the Sunday post on Facebook was all about. Looks like my guesses were way off the mark, but I like your style. That’s got to be an improvement over jack stands.
