2009 Porsche 955 Cayenne 40k Service Rennsport Kansas City
This pepper came in today for it’s 40k service. Fairly basic, filters, spark plugs, oil change, and a good inspection and she was back on the road. Porsche has moved to changing plugs more often now in the newer cars, and they also go by an age or mileage interval.
I love white peppers 🙂 I would destroy a tan interior though 🙁
The little v6, but a DFI motor 🙂
Spark plugs are right out in the open, though it takes a little trickery to get the electrical connectors off and the coil packs out. The spark plugs lie between the tightly spaced intake runners.
Going after the front plug.
And working our way towards the back.
Old plugs versus new.
Then it was time to change the oil. Pretty easy on these once you have all the body panels off.
The center drain lets you drain the filter before removing the housing.
And back to the interior for the cabin filter.

Hi I replaced my cabin filter on my type s the other day and it fell out so I never got to see which direction the airflow should be facing. Do you happen to remember? Please let me know I’m afraid of it causing issues down the road

That’s easy, just turn the fan on and stick a piece of paper in the slot to see which way the airflow is going. Put the arrow in that direction.
