944 Short Shifter and Belt Retension
Since we couldn’t install the short shift kit in the 951 without major issues, we decided to install it in his other 944. Nothing was broken on this car, so it went in pretty easily, lol.
Elevate the rear
Waaay up there is the shift linkage.
New short shifter.
Old shift assembly
Annnd installed.
We had done the belts about 1500 miles ago, so it was time to retension them (new belts only). Now he will be good for 15k before the next tensioning.
