With the record heat we are having, one of the things I am seeing a lot on the road are blown out tires. Very important to keep an eye on your air pressures in your tires to make sure they are properly inflated. Improperly inflated tires plus a lot of heat can end up leaving you on the side of the road.

Picked up this BMW from a customer’s house after he complained of a bad thumping sound when driving. They had just bought the car, and it was coming due for service anyway, so I stopped by and picked it up. I wasn’t 30 feet out of the driveway when I thought “OMG!” I limped it slowly back to the shop and got it up on the lift.

It is hard to see when looking at the tire straight on, but look at the edge of the tire and follow it around in the circle. This tire has the biggest bubble in it that I have ever seen, lol. Not sure how I made it to the shop without it blowing out. A new set of tires is on the way!
