This is from a BMW that came in yesterday.  I have never in my life seen a rotor this bad, it was so bad the piston actually popped out of the brake caliper because it was over extended!  No wonder the car didn’t stop!  Seriously, brakes are one area you don’t mess around with on your cars, have them checked on a regular basis!  This was a major issue that could have ended up with someone seriously injured or worse.

Both rotors were bad, obviously one still provided stopping power while the other did not.
