CT70 Rebuild Continues
Finally got the frame back from Probuilt. He had to cut the neck off the old frame and weld on a new section due to the damage. Then he cleaned everything up and got her painted black! In the meantime we found out the story of this old bike, and turns out it use to belong to a customer of mine from Imagine Auto. Small world!
Frame on the stand and the rear swing arm attached.
I updated the steering bearings to the newer style roller bearings like a traditional wheel bearing. Much better steering feel.
And got the rear wheel attached, along with laying down the decals. These were a major pain, lol.
And the front forks installed along with a new front fender. I will attach the front wheel next then I have to wait for the brackets and such to come back from the powder coater.
Rear seat latch installed.
Stay tuned!
