BMW 330Ci Maintenance
Picked up the BMW the other morning for service as the owner had complained about having an burning smell in the cabin at stop lights. Up on the lift to check it out! Found the leak was pouring out of the valve cover gasket at the front of the motor, so a replacement was needed! Had this Jaguar in the shop last week for a V1 install. Owner wanted it hardwired in so he didn’t have the power cable dangling in his way. No problem! Had this 911SC come into the shop last week for some last minute clutch adjustment before Thanksgiving break. The car was guttering severely in 1st and reverse. I got in and first thing I noticed was a very catchy clutch pedal. Up in the air it goes. Had this 997 come into the shop today with a flat tire. While it is here, we are going to catch up on some maintenance and give it a good look over. Turns out the rear tire was completely blown out due to driving on a low tire. With new tires on order, I started giving the car a good inspection. Jaguar x-type AC compressor change
So this little X type has chucked its drive belt. Owner took it to a shop that said it needs a new belt, so one was installed. Couple days later from under the hood there came smoke, noise, and another chucked belt. Maybe engaging the AC clutch on the locked up compressor is causing a little of the trouble? Jagermeister Vinyl: Fitment Feedback
Ok, I think I already have decided, but give me some feedback! #1. Same setup as the 935 Kremer. The difference, was no sunroof on the 935, so the line from the sunroof seal didn’t get in the way. I would cut a line in the vinyl so the sunroof could still be removed if needed.
