Last minute splitter repair

Finally had a few minutes this week to do a last minute repair on my front splitter for next weekend’s DE. I arrived at a gator about 12 inches too early at MAM a few weeks ago, dropped the front right wheel into a pothole, and the splitter caught the edge of the gator, breaking a piece off. The problem, is that the splitter is made of unobtanium, so I decided to do a quick repair to get me through the rest of the year. Next week I will pick up some primer and some SEM chip coat in black and get it and the wastegate (blow gasket at Hallett) on the car and ready to roll.

A little aluminum cutting and bending, and some rivets, and it should hold just fine.
