LSx project slowly continues
Been trying to get on top of the body work in preparation for paint. Not a lot of fun work 😉 Reassembled and aligned the hood so I could install the hood pins. All old factory latch components have been removed. Using the headlight mounting points, I welded some pipe to a piece of flat iron with two holes for the mounts, then welded a nut to the top that the adjustable pin threads into. Dragon Revival
As I have time, I have been ticking away here and there on this project. Slowwwwly. Pan on, motor mounts on, and crossmember installed. In preparation for the engine, the engine bay needed some paint. The dash. And the rollbar. For now the rest of the cage is removed. The interior is primed and ready for white paint.

LSx progress.
Got the oil pan and pickup tube installed the other day and the oil pan on. Ye haw. Crossmember is 95% modified, I have to still fix one edge and then we are ready to flip the motor right side up 😉

Dragon Revival
Oh I’m not really sure where I last left off here. I have been doing stuff slowly as I have time on the Dragon, without much rhyme or reason. My main concern right now is getting the car ready for paint, so there is a lot of prep work to do. Conversion parts are here for the motor, so I will start bolting that stuff together soon. Rod Bearings LSX
Thought I had a few minutes today to torque the new rod bearings into place on the LSX motor. Never fails when you are doing something important that you get bombarded with phone calls and visits 🙂 I think I retorqued these about 3x each as you don’t want to guess which bolt is at which stage after you forget, lol. The LSX motor takes the torque in two steps, 15ft/lbs, then a 75 degree rotation. Ready to go. My …
