We are currently tackling suspension on the Mustang. Once we sorted all the running issues we were able to drive it at speed. And then quickly back to the shop to replace the worn suspension. The car was all over the place on the road, so we knew all the bushings and shocks would need to be done. Old radius rod bushings. And new ones. Speaking of Mustangs……
She made her maiden voyage this week 🙂 We are sorting out a few bugs that have popped up (like pinholes in the radiator neck, and a bad starter), but all in all for a 45 year old car, it drives great! We may upgrade her to a 4 barrel carb though soon for drive ability improvements.

1965 Mustang Continued
Well we tried our best. We tried our best to make the Christmas deadline, but we fell a little short. At 7pm on Christmas eve, we were dealt the final blow in the coffin when we discovered a leaking power steering control valve. Try and get replacement parts at 7pm on Christmas Eve….LOL. 1965 Mustang 289 carb rebuild
Boo has become the ghost of christmas presents, this ’65 is for a customers lucky wife. This car came with the Autolite 2100 2 barrel. When opened up 46 years of goo had taken its toll. I had scraped a bunch of crud out before I remembered to grab a camera, but there was still plenty left to shoot.
