The 2nd weekly gem in the shop last week. A timing belt/waterpump/spark plug job for a friend’s kid hauler. With 100k miles on the rig, it was time to get the timing belt done. While in there, it is smart to throw in a waterpump as well, and replace the spark plugs since they were due with the mileage. We also found a leaking radiator, so had to tackle that as well. 951 Radiator
Dave dropped off his 951S to have me go through the cooling system. The car was starting to get fairly hot in stop and go traffic in our lovely 100 degree heat, so it was time to do some preventative maintenance on the front end. Porsche 944 Radiator Replacment
Well, I dropped the ball on taking pictures on this project as we were trying to knock it out as quick as possible. Rich brought the beast over this morning so we could do the work on the lift. 928S4 Maintenance
Since project 997TT is on hold, a very nice 928S4 came in tonight for some service due to a leaking radiator end cap. We will also be doing the thermostat and associated gaskets, and the oil filler tube gasket which is leaking. An oil change should top it off, just in time for the nice weather 🙂 Radiator fans out and most of the coolant drained. Radiator out, time to clean up some leaves….. We will be having Orr Radiator …
