911 SC Fuel Accumulator/Filter/Check Valve

Got the parts in today for this car, so I went ahead and swapped them out while I am waiting for the headlight washer nozzles to show up.

Stuck back in the corner is the filter and accumulator.

Accumulator out and going after the filter.

Once I got the accumulator out, I realized why the bottom line was so hard to get on. Not sure how the heck you smash the fitting on an accumulator, but someone made it possible!

And everything buttoned back up.

Next was the fuel pump check valve. Once I dropped the bottom protection pan, I looked at the corrosion and was a little worried. A liberal soaking with Kroil, and everything came apart.

Outer cap nut off.

And the new check valve in and going back together.
